Day 1: Pick Up from Kigali International Airport
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcome the experienced tour guide of primate safaris and do the briefing about the 3 Days gorilla trekking experiences in the magic Virunga Massifs of congo.
Then later start on the four hours journey from Kigali to Gisenyi Rwanda where you will cross to the democratic republic of congo. After crossing the border, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mikeno Lodge, Bukima Tented Camp or Kibumba Tented Camp.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park
You will be awakened at 6:30 am for breakfast thereafter take 1 Hour drive from mikeno lodges to the park headquarters yet those that will have stayed at either kibumba tented camp or bukima tented camp don’t have to wake up early since the briefing is done near the lodges.
Mountain Gorillas in Congo are ease to trek and watch the Great Mountain Gorillas for the 1 Hour, watching them feeding and breast feeding the young ones in the Congo Jungle Forests . At times Gorilla trekking can be short but in some cases an hour or two of rough hiking can be opted. Day 3: Drive Back to Kigali from Congo
You will be waking up not so early in the morning and have a relaxed breakfast, later head to the border and cross over to Rwanda. Then you will drive back to Kigali airport for your flight back home.
Alternatively, one can fly out of Goma airport rather than driving back to Kigali airport.
