Day 1: Fly from Brazzaville to Mboko Airstrip

Today, you will take a charter flight from Brazzaville to Mboko Airstrip. On arrival, meet your tour guide ready to drive to Ngaga camp about 2 hours’ drive. You will have dinner and a night stay at Ngaga Camp.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and forest walk

Have breakfast early in the morning and after, gather at the park headquarters for briefing about guidelines to be followed while on a trek to view the western lowland gorillas in Odzala Kokoua National Park. You will be assigned to a park ranger guide who will take you through a search for these amazing primate species in the wild. On finding them, you will have incredible moment exploring more about their daily behaviors and take as many photos as you can.

In the afternoon, you will embark on forest walk for you to spot out variety of bird species and a lot more. Return thereafter to dine and spend a night at Ngaga camp.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking and night forest walk

Day 3 of your 5 days Odzala gorilla trekking safari you will embark on your second gorilla trek to learn more about the western lowland gorillas. After, 2 to 4 hours of your gorilla search, photography walk back to the camp to have lunch. Later, you will have a night forest walk to look out for variety of nocturnal species. Dine and spend a night at Ngaga Camp.

Day 4: Third gorilla trek and connect to Mboko

Day 5: Fly back to Brazzaville
