Day 1: Ziway – Arba Minch

In the morning, you will drive and visit the Rift Valley Lake Ziway and see the vibrant bird life on the shores of the lake. After having a coffee break, you will depart to Arba Minch with lunch en-route at Walita Sodo. Dinner and overnight at Paradise Lodge.

Day 2: Arba Minch

After having breakfast, you will take a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit th

e ”Crocodile Market” and the local hippos. In the afternoon, you will visit the park, forest, and the initial start of the Arba Minch Springs. You will overnight at Paradise Lodge.

Day 3: Arba Minch

After having breakfast, you will drive to Konso and visit the Konso village and museum. You will lunch at Kanta Lodge. After having lunch, you will depart to Jinka and en-route visit the market at Kei Afer. You will overnight at Jinka Resort.

Day 4: Arba Minch – Jinka

After having breakfast, you will have an excursion to Mursi village, very famous in their Mursi tradition including the lip plate worn by the women and the fierce stickfighting between the men. After having lunch, you will drive to Turmi and visit the Hamer people well-known both for their fine pottery and remarkable hairstyle. You will overnight at Buska Lodge.

Day 5: Jinka – Turmi

In the morning, you will have an excursion to Omorate. You will cross the Omo River by traditional boat and visit the typical nomadic village of the Dassanach people with their colorful traditions. You will return to Turmi and overnight at Buska Lodge.

Day 6: Turmi – Arba Minch

In the morning, you will drive to Arba Minch and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will depart to Dorze village well-known for their tall beehive-like houses and their fine cotton weaving. You will also visit a local village to learn the various aspects of their livelihood. You will return to Arba Minch and overnight at Paradise Lodge.

Day 7: Arba Minch – Addis Ababa

In the morning, you will drive to Addis Ababa with lunch en-route at Butajira and then proceed to Addis Ababa. You will overnight at Jupiter International Hotel.

Day 8: Addis Ababa

You will have Addis Ababa city tour. In the morning, you will see National Museum of Ethiopia and Holy Trinity Cathedral. While in the afternoon, you will see Merkato and Addis Ababa Museum. In the evening, you will see cultural dance and eat culturally dinner in one of the famous cultural restaurants in Addis Ababa.
