The 3 days Uganda Gorilla Safari takes you to the Bwindi impenetrable forest which protects half of the endangered mountain gorillas in the mist.
This trip can be habituation experience for 4 hours or gorilla trekking for 1 hour with the mountain gorillas in Bwindi and the alternative gorilla trekking park in Uganda is Mgahinga National park. Mgahinga National Park as 2 Gorilla groups including the one that migrated from Rwanda.
Bwindi has four sectors for Gorilla trekking that is Ruhija, Rushaga, Nkuringo, Buhoma Sectors. Depending on the availability of the gorilla permit and the lodge( accommodation ) we shall recommend the available sector for Gorilla trekking permit. Travel Plan: 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari
Day1: Transfer from Kigali Airport to Bwindi National Park Uganda
Upon your arrival at Kigali International airport, you will be welcomed by the experienced tour guide of the primate safari experience and start to transfer from Kigali to Uganda’s Bwindi forest via Katuna Border. The Drive from Kigali to Bwindi’s Ruhija Sector takes 4 hours including the border crossing. Dinner and overnight Gorilla Mist Lodge/ Ruhija Safari Lodge. Meal plan: H/B
Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla trekking in Ruhija Sector
You will wake up early morning for breakfast and later transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations. After you will enter into the forest to start the search for the mountain gorillas in the mist, when you meet the gorillas relax down and enjoy watching them as they feed and play with the young ones, Please ensure you maintain the distance. Return to the park offices to be awarded your trekking certificate. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day3: Bwindi-Kampala
After After your breakfast, embark on the safari vehicle and drive back to Kampala with lunch en-route and stop again to the Uganda equator to shop souvenirs and curious to take home. Drive to the airport for your home return flight. End of services
