Day 1: From Kampala or Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park, Western Uganda

After an early morning leisurely breakfast, head to Kibale Forest about 5 to 6 hours’ drive. This journey will take you from Kampala via Mityana to Mubende to Fort Portal Tourism City. Lunch stop be made in Fort Portal Tourism City and later, check in at the lodge in Kibale Forest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest & visit Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have a leisurely cup of Ugandan tea or coffee and after, be briefed at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre. Get to understand about chimpanzee tracking rules and at 8:00am, go look for chimpanzees. On about 2 to 4 hours of chimp trek, you will also come across other primates and birds in addition to striking your imaginations with chimpanzees in the wild. Return thereafter the 1 hour with chimpanzees, have lunch and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, 3 hours’ drive.
