Buhoma Lodge is found in the Buhoma Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Kanungu District southwestern Uganda. The Buhoma Sector was the first area in Bwindi to offer gorilla trekking and remains one of the park's most popular regions.
The lodge is conveniently located only a few minutes' walk from the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters, where visitors gather each morning for gorilla trekking briefings. This prime location allows guests to begin their adventure without the need for lengthy road transfers.
Buhoma Lodge features 10 individually designed luxury chalets, each carefully handcrafted using locally sourced materials that blend harmoniously with the surrounding rainforest. The lodge emphasizes sustainability without compromising guest comfort, creating an authentic safari atmosphere.
