Set on the southern banks of the Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Bush Lodge is an eco-friendly safari camp offering guests an authentic wilderness experience without compromising on comfort as travelers enjoy mid-range accommodation. The Lodge is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts, birdwatchers, photographers, couples, families and adventure travelers seeking the best wilderness experiences.
Blending seamlessly into its surroundings the Bush Lodge is designed to maximize privacy while immersing guests in the sights and sounds of the African bush. Wildlife frequently wanders through the camp and evenings are often accompanied by the calls of hippos and hyenas.
While at the lodge, travelers can access the Kazinga Channel, Kasenyi Plains, Kyambura Gorge, Ishasha Sector, Katwe Salt Lake as well as many birdwatching hotspots.
The rooms at the lodges include; Self-Contained Bandas i.e 12 spacious ones each featuring Comfortable king-size or twin beds, Private en-suite bathroom, Flush toilet, Outdoor hot-water shower, Private terrace overlooking the seasonal Kamera River, Large mosquito-netted windows with panoramic bush views, Raised wooden deck, Comfortable seating area.
There are also Self-Contained Safari Tents which are ideal for families or small groups and these feature en-suite bathroom facilities, comfortable beds, Private wooden platforms, Space for additional tents if needed, Easy access to the main lodge. Non-Self-Contained Safari Tents also exist and these feature
Comfortable beds, Shared bathroom facilities, Shared flush toilets and hot showers, Power outlets, Grass-thatched roofing for shade and privacy.
