Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp is one of Kenya's luxury safari camps located within the heart of Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya situated along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River offering guests an authentic safari experience while providing the comfort and elegance of a high-end lodge.

The Camp is under the management of Heritage Hotels offering travelers exceptional wildlife viewing, family-friendly facilities, cultural experiences and personalized service. The camp offers travelers a chance to observe elephants, crocodiles and a variety of other wildlife animals as you relax along the private verandahs.

The camp is well known for offering excellent opportunities to see the "Samburu Special Five"—Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx and gerenuk—as well as elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and more than 450 bird species found within the reserve.

Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp occupies a prime riverside location inside Samburu National Reserve approximately 345 kilometers north of Nairobi. The camp is surrounded by doum palms, acacia woodland and the wildlife-rich Ewaso Nyiro River which serves as a year-round water source for many animals.

The camp is easily accessible by Road about a six-hours drive from Nairobi via Nanyuki and Isiolo, Air as you get daily scheduled flights from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to Samburu Airstrip.

The camp features 28 luxury safari tents each built on a raised wooden platform and positioned to maximize views of the river and surrounding wilderness. The tents combine classic safari design with modern comforts, luxury tents, Family tents with interconnected rooms, Honeymoon accommodation (subject to availability) featuring amenities i.e Four-poster king-size or twin beds, En-suite bathroom, Hot and cold running water, Flush toilet, Shower, Writing desk, Comfortable seating area, Mosquito nets, Private veranda overlooking the river, Ceiling fan or climate-control features, Tea and coffee-making facilities,
