About the Lodge
Ichumbi derives its name from the local ‘Rufumbira’ dialect that means (a cool, comfortable home). The lodge is situated in the beautiful hills of South Western Uganda offering fine mid-to-upscale accommodation options for travelers on safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park's Rushaga Sector.
The Park is known to offer Gorilla Trekking, birdwatching, guided nature walks and cultural experiences. The lodge is just 10 minutes away to Rushaga gate of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park combining modern comfort with breathtaking natural surroundings offering guests quick and convenient access to gorilla trekking registration points without the need for lengthy morning transfers.
The Lodge is found along Mutolele road in Kisoro town offering both luxury and medium-budget accommodation to all travelers on safari in Kisoro town Southwestern Uganda. The accommodation we offer is done in double, twin and deluxe rooms for travelers on business retreats, gorilla tracking adventure in Uganda.
