About the Lodge
Kibira Park Lodge is an eco-lodge strategically located in Bugarama close to the entrance of Kibira National Park surrounded by verdant tea plantations, dense montane rainforest of the Congo–Nile Divide. The lodge serves as a comfortable base for travelers exploring one of Burundi's richest biodiversity hotspots with modern amenities, tranquil scenery and a popular destination for tourists, researchers, birdwatchers and adventure enthusiasts.
Location
The lodge is found along the National Road 1 (RN1) in Bugarama approximately 300 meters from the Bugarama roundabout and about an hour's drive from Bujumbura Burundi's largest city. It offers convenient access to Kibira National Park while offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys of the Congo–Nile watershed.
