About the Lodge
Semliki Safari Lodge is located in western Uganda's beautiful Albertine Rift Valley offering secluded safari accommodation within the Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve.
The Lodge is surrounded with pristine wilderness, abundant wildlife and breathtaking landscapes that are ideal for wildlife enthusiasts, birdwatchers, photographers, honeymooners and travelers seeking tranquility away from crowded tourist destinations.
It is close to the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, between the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, Lake Albert and the vast forests of Semuliki National Park.
The reserve spans more than 500 square kilometers of savannah grasslands, riverine forests, wetlands, and acacia woodland, creating one of Uganda's most biodiverse ecosystems. The development of the lodge also demonstrated how responsible tourism could contribute directly to environmental protection and local livelihoods.
Semliki Safari Lodge maintains an intimate atmosphere with accommodation designed to blend naturally into the surrounding environment.
