Keekorok Lodge

Keekorok Lodge is one of Kenya's iconic safari lodges and holds the distinction of being the first permanent safari lodge built in Maasai Mara National Reserve. It was founded in 1962 offering royalty, comfort and authentic safari experience to all travelers on safari holiday in Kenya.

The lodge is found in the southern region of Maasai Mara combining rich history, comfortable accommodation, abundant wildlife and a prime location along the route of the annual Great Wildebeest Migration. It is surrounded by permanent springs, lush grasslands and riverine forests.

Keekorok Lodge is found within Maasai Mara National Reserve in Narok County about 250–280 kilometers southwest of Nairobi covering a 180-acre site in an area known for its permanent water sources which attract wildlife throughout the year. Its strategic location places guests close to many of the reserve's major wildlife-viewing areas and migration routes.

Travelers can get to the lodge using road for a period of 5–6 hours' drive from Nairobi via Narok and the Sekenani Gate as well as by air as you catch scheduled flights from Nairobi's Wilson Airport to Keekorok Airstrip or nearby airstrips, followed by a short transfer to the lodge.

Keekorok Lodge offers a variety of accommodation options suitable for couples, families, groups, and luxury travelers.
