About the Lodge
Camp Xakanaxa is located in Moremi Game Reserve and one of Botswana's oldest and most celebrated safari camps situated along the banks of River Khwai facing the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon. The camp offers exceptional combination of land and water-based safari experiences annually. Camp Xakanaxa lies in the eastern Okavango Delta, making it ideal for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, birdwatchers, and families.
Located in the northeast of Moremi Game Reserve, the camp sits amid permanent waterways, floodplains, riverine forests, and open grasslands that support abundant wildlife.
The camp combines traditional safari charm with modern comfort accommodating about 24 guests. The camp has 11 spacious Meru-style luxury safari tents featuring 1 two-bedroom family tent, En-suite bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet, Comfortable twin or king-size beds, Private wooden viewing deck overlooking the lagoon, Ceiling fan and cooling mist system, Mosquito nets, Safe for valuables, Charging facilities, Tea and coffee stations.
